Family airport transfer in Mauritius with child seats

1. Choose the right vehicle

A standard sedan works for a couple with one small child. For families of four or more, or families with multiple large suitcases and a stroller, book a family SUV or minivan. Luggage space is often the limiting factor, not passenger seats.

2. Request child seats in advance

Tell us your children's ages or weights when booking. We provide infant carriers, toddler seats, or booster seats as needed. The first child seat is free with our family transfer service.

3. Plan for jet lag and delays

Mauritius is a long-haul destination for many families. Kids may be tired or restless after the flight. Pre-booking means no queue, no negotiation, and a direct ride to the hotel where everyone can rest.

4. Pack a small arrival bag

Keep nappies, snacks, a change of clothes, and any medication in your hand luggage. The first day is much smoother when essentials are within reach.

5. Confirm your hotel location carefully

Some hotel names are used in multiple areas of Mauritius. Send the full hotel name or address on WhatsApp so your driver knows exactly where to go.

Family arrival checklist

  • Book a minivan or SUV for groups with 3+ large suitcases.
  • Request child seats with age/weight details.
  • Keep snacks, nappies, and a change of clothes in hand luggage.
  • Save the driver's WhatsApp number before departure.
  • Confirm hotel name and exact location.
  • Allow 45–60 minutes from landing to meet your driver.
